Description
Using the early church in Acts as a model, children see how God's family grows, discover what life in God's family is like, and learn that being part of God's family means working together, caring for each other, and welcoming others. This summer unit offers five easy-prep sessions that help children grow in their faith while they're having fun. Use it for a week of VBS or for five weeks of Sunday school. Everything you need is in one book including large and small group sessions for grades K-3 and 4-6; craft directions, games, and other photocopiable resources; songs and a music CD; and ideas for hosting a neighborhood Summer Celebration.
