Abuse Awareness Insert (Korean)

This year, the Abuse Awareness theme for this special Sunday is "Standing For Truth." Truth-telling is costly, but it is essential. It is not always easy to face uncomfortable realities, yet the courage to stand up for truth calls us to reject cover-ups and demand accountability. Too often, silence shields abuse and protects the powerful instead of the vulnerable. Fear can keep us quiet, but the church is called to a courageous witness.

On this Abuse Awareness Sunday, let us renew our commitment to truth so that the vulnerable are protected and healing and hope are possible.

Call on the staff at Thrive to help develop safer church policies and assist in challenging abuse of power and code of conduct situations.
